This is your life.
Do what you love and do it often.
If you don’t like something.. Change it.
If you don’t like your job, quit.
If you don’t have enough time, stop watching TV.
If you are looking for the love of your life, stop;
they will be waiting for you when you start
doing the things that you love.
Stop over analysing.
All emotions are beautiful.
When you eat, appreciate every last bite.
Life is so simple.
Open your mind, arms and heart to new things and people. We are
united in our differences. Ask the next person you see what their passion is,
and share your inspiring dream with them.
Travel often.
Getting lost will help you find yourself.
Some opportunities come only once, seize them. Life is about the people you meet, and the
things you create with them.
So go out and start creating. Live your dream
and wear your passion.

Ocean’s Skin
Ocean’s Skin in the Whale Mall
Over the past couple of weeks, I have been exploring the Brisbane Festival. It’s incredible to have a world class arts festival in my home city, filled with music, theatre, dance, opera and circus. If you ever visit Brisbane, September is the perfect time of year.
The unique show I experienced today, Ocean’s Skin, was created by composer and musical director, John Babbage, and artistic director and choreographer, Heidi Duckler. They are renowned for innovative site-specific works in non-traditional spaces.
This particular piece mirrored their fascination with the sounds and life-forms of the heavens and seas.
The music and dancing flowed from haunting to frantic, imitating the endless personalities of the ocean. The contemporary dancers wore torn linen dresses in washed out tones that were frayed and dishevelled – almost as if they had been shipwrecked at sea and then drowned.
